Rabbi Shneur & Esther Wolfman

Rabbi Shneur and Esther Wolfman have joined the Chabad of Flagstaff team in a two-year internship, bringing their positive energy and considerable talents to our community.

Rabbi Shneur also brings energetic leadership experience with college students and campers to his new role. At Chabad on Campus in Champaign, Illinois, he ran the daily operations and organized numerous events. He served as head staff at Camp Gan Israel in Haliburton, Canada, overseeing 20 staff members and 200 campers.  

Esther grew up “down under” in Sydney, Australia, and earned diplomas in advanced Jewish studies from schools in Melbourne and Jerusalem. She worked extensively in different Jewish educational settings in Australia, running various youth programs and teaching Hebrew school. She then served as a teacher at Lamplighters Jewish Academy in Oxnard, California and as a Jewish studies tutor at a high school in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. She was admired and well-liked by her students of all ages. They especially appreciated her talent at playing guitar and piano. Esther’s warmth and outgoing nature will serve her well as she creates connections in Flagstaff.
