Join us for a Shabbat of inspiration marking the Rebbe's 27th Yahrtzeit (anniversary of passing).
This Shabbat, June 12 there will be a special deluxe Kiddush lunch honoring the Rebbe's legacy. Rabbi's Dovie & Shneur will lead a "Chassidic Farbrengen." They will share the profound impact the Rebbe had on their lives and talk about his vision for the future.
The Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, of righteous memory (1902-1994), was of the most influential Jewish leaders of the 20th century.
As leader of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement, he took an insular Hasidic group that almost came to an end with the Holocaust, and transformed it into one of the most influential movements in religious world Jewry,with an international network of over 5,000 educational and social centers. The institutions he established include kindergartens, schools, drug-rehabilitation centers, care-homes for the disabled, and synagogues. On a personal note Chabad of Flagstaff was founded on the basis of the Rebbe's
vision. The Rebbe's teachings continuously guides Chabad of Flagstaff to be a place of warmth and joy for the Jewish Community.
